Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 13, 2025

Pick It Up Logistics, Inc., along with its affiliated entities and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “Pick It Up Logistics,” “we,” or “our”), values your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect the data that can identify you personally across our operations—including our events, services, websites, apps, and communications that reference this Privacy Policy (collectively referred to as “the Sites”). For more information on our general policies, please see our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

As part of our regular operations and in certain services, we collect personal information. This includes data you provide directly—such as when you apply for a job through our Recruitment Portal, or subscribe to alerts on the Sites. This information may include your name, contact details (mailing address, email, phone, fax), and other relevant background data.
Additionally, we automatically gather technical data about the devices you use to browse our Sites. This may include your IP address, browser type, device ID, and browsing behavior via tools such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies. We may link this information to your data or assign it a unique identifier.
In some cases, we may obtain personal information from external sources—like data aggregators or public platforms, including social media—especially when relevant to our services. We ensure that third parties who supply us with this information are transparent in their data handling practices and operate in compliance with applicable laws.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to respond to your inquiries, manage event participation, deliver tailored content, evaluate our services, and support recruitment and job applicant assessments. It also helps us enhance website performance, share alerts and updates, and comply with legal and operational requirements. In some instances, certain data collection is necessary to deliver our services or enable core site functions.
We may also analyze and combine personal data to offer more relevant content or services. Your information may be retained for follow-up communications or other legitimate business uses.
Cookies and similar tracking tools—used either by us or our service providers—help manage our Sites, gather usage analytics, and track interaction with our communications. See our separate Cookie Policy for more on this.
Our Sites do not respond to browser-based “do not track” signals and do not monitor your activity across unrelated websites.

Mobile Application Data

When using our mobile apps, we may rely on third-party tools to track performance, diagnose issues, and understand user interactions. These tools may report on things like crash events, device type, and user behavior, helping us improve app functionality.

Legal Grounds for Processing

We process your data based on:
- Our legitimate business interests such as improving services, maintaining relationships, and recruiting talent.
-Your consent, where required—e.g., when signing up for alerts or creating a user profile.
-Compliance with legal obligations, when necessary to meet regulatory requirements.

Sharing and Transferring Your Information

We may share your data across our global network of affiliates, as well as with third-party service providers supporting our services and Sites. This may involve transfers to countries with different data protection laws than your own. Where legally necessary, we implement safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to ensure your information remains protected. By using our Sites and submitting your data, you consent to such international transfers.
We will not sell or share your data with unaffiliated third parties for their marketing unless legally permitted or with your consent. Any third-party vendors we engage are bound to respect this Privacy Policy and maintain the confidentiality and integrity of your data.

We may also disclose your information:
-When required by law or legal processes
-To authorities or regulators
-To prevent harm, investigate fraud, or enforce legal rights
-In the context of business transactions such as mergers or acquisitions
-To fulfill auditing or compliance obligations

Any information you share in public sections of the Sites may be viewed and used by others. Pick It Up Logistics is not responsible for how third parties use information you publicly post.

Third-Party Links

Our Sites may link to third-party sites. These are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites. Your use of such sites is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Social Media Integration

You may choose to link your social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook) with your Pick It Up Logistics profile. Doing so allows us to access certain public data, such as your email address or name, as permitted by that platform’s privacy settings and policies. You can manage or revoke these connections via your social network’s account settings.

Data Security

We follow widely accepted practices and technologies to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access is restricted to those who need it to perform their duties and are required to handle the data confidentially. While we strive to maintain a secure system, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Data Retention

Your information is kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the business purpose it was collected. In some instances, we may retain data longer—for example, for legal reasons, audits, or to preserve historical records. If you request deletion of your information, we will make reasonable efforts to remove it entirely from our systems.

This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

What Are Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, like web beacons, pixels, and clear GIFs, also collect information about how you interact with websites and emails. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as “Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.”
These tools enable websites to recognize your device, remember your preferences, and track usage patterns to enhance performance and functionality.

Third-party cookies are set by service providers (e.g., advertising or analytics partners) through our Sites.

For example, some of our third-party partners may place cookies to evaluate the effectiveness of our emails or advertising campaigns. These cookies may track whether a message was opened or if links were clicked.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers to understand how they collect, use, and protect your data.
